I bought two bottles knowing the clog was most likely hair. Four applications as directed flushed with hot water. One flush was boiling water from the stove and still clogged. I borrowed a handsnake from the neighbor and as I though hair with soap scum that four applications of this didn't get. The slow drain before I bought this was the same slow drain until I used a handsnake. It says guaranteed see their website and I can't find anything.

I've spoken to the scientists at Zep. I didn't believe this stuff could do a better job than the 2 men who manually cleaned out our 2 bathtubs and 2 bathroom sink drains of 30+ years of crud. The men cleaned from above and from below all 4 drains. But this stuff worked better than all their efforts and its keeping our drains clean. We were sure we needed 2 new tubs and 2 new bathroom sinks, but now we don't. Previously, we had tried caustic drain cleaners but all that did was cause the pipes to leak. We had to take apart the pipes, add tighten them again to stop the leaks.

Unfortunately it didn't work
We have a clogged shower drain with standing water. I poured half the bottle directly in the drain, I could see it displacing gunk and debris. After 20 minutes I poured 30oz of piping hot water directly over the drain. Nothing happened. There is still standing water and it is still, so not even draining slightly. Sad to say, because I don't like posting negative reviews.

I had a slow drain in my shower that I couldn’t get to go away using things like drain-o and liquid plumber so I randomly picked this product. Let me tell ya something - this is the s**t. Left it in the drain for 15 minutes and when I rinsed it out, I could see the hair literally disintegrate. Definitely recommend this product.

Great Product, Have 2 tubs flowing again
We ordered this for our 2 shower/tubs. One was really slow and part of it was because my wife has long hair, and I am sure there was hair and conditioners causing it to be slow. We put half a bottle in the drains per instructions and wait 90 min for it to work. We ran a gallon of hot water through it and put the rest down the drain and let it set for a few hours. And the tubs now flow freely. I am happy with this, I was a little worried when I reread the description after I had ordered it and it said drain opener. I wasn't sure if it would be able to cling to the sides of the pipe and be effective. It is like honey, so it will stick to the pipes
