ATLANTA, GA – Zep®, the go-to cleaning brand for professionals, announces its continued partnership with Stewart-Haas Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series.
The partnership designates Zep as "the Official Cleaning Supplier of Stewart-Haas Racing" and has Zep returning as the primary partner for driver Chase Briscoe in the Straight Talk Wireless 400 NASCAR Cup Series race Oct. 27 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The No. 14 Zep Ford Mustang Dark Horse will take to the track on Saturday for practice and qualifying before Sunday’s race, which begins at 2:30 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast live on NBC and Peacock. The race can be heard live on the Motor Racing Network (MRN), NASCAR’s primary source for stock car racing radio programming. The MRN broadcast will also be simulcast on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
The Straight Talk Wireless 400 is one of the most anticipated races of the season. It marks the 34th race on the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series schedule, the eighth race of the NASCAR Playoffs, and the second race in the Round of 8. Spanning 267 laps around the 1.5-mile oval, the 400-mile race challenges drivers with high speeds averaging 125-130 mph and typically lasts around three hours and 15 minutes.
Briscoe, a third-generation racer from Mitchell, Indiana, is renowned for his relentless drive, adaptability, and expertise on the track. His ability to push the limits and consistently deliver top-tier performance mirrors Zep’s commitment to innovation and excellence. Just as Briscoe's success comes from meticulous preparation and precision, Zep’s professional-grade products are trusted to perform under pressure, making them a natural fit for Briscoe’s racing career and his personal projects. Whether maintaining his race cars or keeping his home garage in top shape, Zep is a crucial partner for Briscoe on and off the track, underscoring the strength of this dynamic collaboration.
“Zep is more than just a sponsor — it’s a brand I trust, whether I’m in the heat of competition or handling things off the track,” Briscoe said. “With three kids, including two newborns at home, keeping everything clean and organized is more important than ever. From my race hauler to my garage and around the house, Zep’s products deliver unmatched performance and reliability, which is exactly what I need professionally and personally.”
Fans can expect to see Zep’s iconic blue-and-yellow branding throughout the weekend. It will be featured prominently on Briscoe’s No. 14 Ford Mustang Dark Horse, crew uniforms, pit wall banners and across social media. The last time Briscoe raced the No. 14 Zep Ford Mustang Dark Horse was in June at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon where he drove to an impressive second-place finish.
“We’re excited to partner with Chase Briscoe again and highlight Zep’s extensive range of professional-grade solutions to NASCAR fans,” said Greg Heyer, EVP Retail Sales & Marketing for Zep. “Zep’s products deliver superior results, whether you're cleaning a home, a business or maintaining a race car. Chase’s performance-driven mindset mirrors Zep’s dedication to creating innovative and reliable cleaning and maintenance products for professionals and homeowners alike.”
