Have some questions? Why not take a look at some of the most frequently asked questions about this product below to see if we have the answer.
What is an all-purpose cleaner and degreaser used for?
An all-purpose cleaner and degreaser is designed to handle both everyday dirt and tougher greasy messes. This formula removes grease, grime, food residue, dirt, and stubborn stains, making it useful for cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, offices, and other frequently cleaned areas.
What surfaces can Zep Concentrated All-Purpose Cleaner and Degreaser be used on?
The cleaner can be used on a variety of compatible surfaces, including stainless steel, tile, fiberglass, porcelain, painted surfaces, and countertops. Always test the product in an inconspicuous area before cleaning a larger surface.
Do you need to dilute your concentrated all-purpose cleaner?
Dilution depends on the cleaning job. For tough soils, use this cleaner at full strength. For medium soils, dilute 6 fl. oz. of concentrate in 32 oz. of water. For light soils, dilute 3 fl. oz. in 32 oz. of water. Always follow the label dilution instructions for the application.
Can an all-purpose cleaner also be used as a degreaser?
Yes, when the formula is specifically designed for both purposes. This multipurpose cleaner provides degreasing action that cuts through food residue, grease, dirt, and grime, making it particularly useful for greasy kitchen messes and other areas where an everyday cleaner may need extra cleaning power.
How long should you let your all-purpose cleaner sit before wiping?
For general cleaning with Zep Concentrated All-Purpose Cleaner and Degreaser, apply the properly diluted or full-strength solution as appropriate, allow it to work for one minute, and then wipe the surface clean. One bottle of concentrate can make up to 42 applications of cleaning spray when diluted according to label directions.
