What does Zep Heavy-Duty Floor Stripper remove?

Zep Heavy-Duty Floor Stripper is formulated to remove old floor polish, wax, finish, and heavy buildup from hard interior floors. It helps prepare floors for resealing, refinishing, or applying a new coat of floor polish.

What types of floors can Zep Heavy-Duty Floor Stripper be used on?

This floor stripper is suitable for vinyl composition tile (VCT), concrete, rubber, and many no-wax tile floors. Always test in an inconspicuous area first to verify compatibility before treating the entire floor.

Is Zep Heavy-Duty Floor Stripper concentrated?

Yes, this is a concentrated floor stripping solution. One gallon can make up to 9 gallons of ready-to-use stripper, allowing you to adjust the dilution based on the amount of buildup being removed.

How long should the floor stripper sit before removal?

After application, allow the solution to remain on the floor for approximately 5 to 8 minutes to break down wax, polish, and buildup. Do not allow the product to dry on the surface before removing and rinsing.

Do I need to rinse the floor after stripping?

Yes, thorough rinsing is an important step in the floor stripping process. After removing the stripping solution with a mop or wet vacuum, rinse the floor twice and allow it to dry completely before applying sealer or floor finish.
