Zep I.D. Red is a powerful, fast-evaporating industrial degreaser designed for use when quick drying and residue-free surfaces are essential. This solvent-based degreaser effectively removes oils, grease, dirt and lubricants. Formulated without harmful chlorinated solvents, Zep I.D. Red can be applied with ease via spray or wipe. Instructions

Zep I.D. Red must be used cold. DO NOT heat this product or use on hot surfaces. Due to evaporation, it is not recommended for use in open vats. Apply through Zep Model B or Dura Shot pressurized sprayers. Disconnect power source and spray. After Zep I.D. Red has soaked into the soil and loosened it, a blast of compressed air will remove the residue from hard-to-reach corners and crevices. Avoid breathing mist and vapors. IMPORTANT: Zep I.D. Red is a strong solvent; and, as with any strong solvent, some substrates (plastics, painted surfaces, etc.) may be sensitive to contact with this product. A test should be run on a small, inconspicuous area prior to full-scale use. This is particularly important when prolonged contact, such as soaking, is anticipated. NOTE: Product is highly flammable liquid and vapor. Do not smoke or weld or allow any other type ignition (sparks, elec. motor, etc.) while using. NOTE: This product contains 700 g/L VOC. California facilities under AQMD Rule 1171 Solvent Cleaning Operations require a VOC limit of 25 g/L. Other states or locales may have facility emissions regulations which may have specific requirements for application or VOC limits for use. Check local and state regulations.
